A Stylish First Lady

Americans have overwhelmingly chosen Barack Obama to be the 44th President of the United States. But it's also worth noting that with him comes a whole package: Michelle Obama will be one of the most stylish First Ladies to move to the White House in recent history. She was even in Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed List this year.

I guess we all have something to look forward to (and look at) for the next 4 years.

Update: People are already talking about it: http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/11/05/that-dress-everyone-has-an-opinion/

  1. I hate to say it, but almost every time I see Mrs. Obama, I heave-sigh. She always chooses a flattering silhouette, but the dresses in and themselves are really awful. They either look cheap, or the prints are ugly, or they're ugly AND look cheap. I think she should be encased in Oscar de la Renta at all times. Or do some sort of Edwardian/ Neo-classical revival. That would be beyond hot.
