Speaking of favorite websites, the blog 'Olsens Anonymous' is one I follow on the daily. The website tracks down MK&A at both high profile celebrity events and casual encounters in LA/NY. It is updated nearly everyday creating both envy and inspiration for the MKA obsessed. Here's a picture of Ashley at the Met Ball...perfect.

Hell Yeah, I'm Chuck Bass

“Hell yeah these pants are red. Look how red my pants are! Nate could never wear pants this red. Nate doesn’t have enough personality for pants this exuberant, this delightfully whimsical. Though maybe I shouldn’t have gone with the green socks. Wait - what am I thinking? I’m Chuck Bass. Of course I should have.”

There is an entire blog dedicated to What Chuck Wore on Gossip Girl. Each ridiculous outfit is accompanied by a ridiculous fictional quotes by Chuck Bass on his outfit, like the one above. I secretly (well not anymore) watch Gossip Girl, and this season I have developed a certain fondness for Chuck. Emotionally complex and a snappy dresser? I'm down.

Support Independent Businesses

The 3/50 is an effort to harness consumer power in order to keep independent businesses viable by reminding us to support our favorite local businesses. The campaign's not about encouraging over-spending, but about promoting conscious spending. It really got us thinking about what businesses in our community we'd hate to see disappear.

Behance Network

The Behance Network is a pretty amazing website were artists, graphic designers, and otherwise talented people can showcase their work. Under "Philosophy" they explain why they decided to create this website:
"Great ideas are conceived and subsequently lost in the hands of creative geniuses, everyday. Frustration, rationalization, and despondence loom as creative people jump from idea, to idea, to idea... and fall short of actually making ideas happen. It is a shame that most creative breakthroughs never materialize."

Behance studies talented and creative people and teams; their work and the method they achieved their results through. They then showcase these works for everyone to browse and enjoy. This is an amazing resource when you're struggling to get inspired. You can see the amazing things other people are doing and learn from them.

LOOKBOOK

The web site, http://lookbook.nu/, is a Sartorialist-esque style site where you can send in pictures and other members can 'hype' them or otherwise comment on them. As another blogger put it "The premise of the site is that members can join and post a portfolio of their 'looks'--photographic compositions that range from the simple self-clicked portrait to the very artistic."

This site is seriously addictive, but also it's refreshing to see some member-driven styles there; people seem to be coming from all over the world and showing things they love with the rest of us.

We don't have a problem with that.
