Top Secret: A Sneak Peek Inside Contrast's Third Annual Fall Fashion Show

Contrast 2013 Fall Fashion Show : 6:30 PM, October 3rd, at the Frances Lehmen Loeb Art Center.

Every fall, Contrast hosts a fashion show at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center. The event aims to showcase a variety of styles and trends throughout the ages, including both historically accurate outfits as well as contemporarily stimulating ensembles.

In the past the show's theme has been French fashion, but this year we decided to deviated from that topic in order to provide a more diverse array of subject matter. The theme of this year's show will be "Seven Sisters Styles". The historical outfits place particular stress on clothing from the '20s and '30s, whereas the contemporary outfits will be more redolent of the style from the turn of the millennium to today.

There will be music, food, and an introduction by fashion historian and author of "Seven Sisters Style", Rebecca Tuite, about the impact that clothing and campus culture from the Seven Sister Schools has had on the mainstream fashion industry.

Here are some shots from the show's walk-through at the Loeb last Thursday night.
